Aishwarya is the Head of Regional Policy for Trust and Safety at TikTok. She oversees content policy development for TikTok across all APAC markets. Prior to this, she served as the Global Issue Policy Lead for Mental Health and Dangerous Activities at TikTok for 2 years, where she developed policies to ensure the mental wellbeing and safety of our users.
She has demonstrated experience with the Singapore Government, with over 10 years of experience working on industry and regulatory policy development. At the Singapore Economic Development Board, she worked with technology and media MNCs to enable their growth strategies from Singapore. She also spent four years as a regulatory policy manager in the Singapore Infocomm Media Development Authority, where she worked on legislative review and online code of practices for social media companies.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
