Danny is a Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy at YouTube. He leads YouTube’s public policy efforts in responsibly promoting the growth of Southeast Asia’s creator economy. He works closely with governments, industry partners, and organizations in the region to promote a safe and positive online environment.
Prior to Google, he led the provision of government support for public-private partnership projects in water, health, and transport infrastructure through his work with Indonesia’s Finance Ministry. He has 20+ years of experience leading public policy work and digital transformation across the areas of digital finance, AI, privacy, content, and commerce.
Danny holds a PhD and Masters in Information Systems from Monash University, Australia and executive certifications from the University of Oxford and INSEAD.
