Choy is the Director of International Affairs Division in Singapore’s Ministry of Digital Development and Information. In this role, he is responsible for Singapore’s digital diplomacy globally, through policy cooperation and engagement, across bilateral relationships and multilateral forums. This includes digital domains such as AI, online safety, digital government, amongst others. Prior to this role, he was Vice President and Head of Region (Europe) for the Economic Development Board (EDB). Choy has more than 20 years of experience in the larger public service, in domains of defence, diplomacy, technological capability development, and social policy; with stints in US, Europe, Israel, Southeast Asia, and now based back in Singapore.
