Akash Pugalia is the Global President for Trust and Safety, Media/Entertainment, & Gaming for Teleperformance and is currently based in San Francisco. He has built the TP Trust & Safety practice since joining in 2020, growing it to achieve a presence in more than 24 countries, servicing over 30 clients in close to 40 languages. His strategic approach and nuanced understanding of the T&S landscape has yielded significant results for clients across the social media, gaming, dating, and e-commerce sectors.

Akash is a recognized thought leader who shares his insights on trust and safety, rapid emergence of innovative transformations, and the need for uncommon collaboration across disciplines to unlock the power of multi-stakeholder partnerships. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Akash champions the cause of creating a diverse and equitable workplace while leading several Impact sourcing initiatives. He is the Executive Sponsor of Asian@TP as well as initiated the TP Women for T&S chapter.

With a remarkable career spanning over 23+ years in the outsourcing industry, encompassing organizations such as Accenture, Cognizant, and WNS, he has been focusing on designing & implementing Trust & Safety solutions for various industry platforms. Akash holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration as well as an MBA from Bharati Vidyapeeth University Institute of Management and Research (BVIMR).
