Pedro is a Senior Machine Learning Associate in Ofcom's Online Safety Group, specialising in machine learning auditing, automatic content moderation, and age estimation solutions. He has a Ph.D. in Developing Machine Learning Solutions in Telecommunications from Aston University, as well as a specialisation in the Oxford University Artificial Intelligence Programme. Pedro is currently interested in leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve telecommunications systems and promote a safer online environment in order to shape policies and implement best practises that foster a secure and responsible digital landscape for UK users.
