Jane is a manager on the Imminent Risk team at Meta based in Dublin, Ireland. For nearly 12 years she has supported communities of users, advertisers, and partners who encounter difficulties on and off Meta’s family of apps and services. For the last four years she has led a global team responsible for identifying and mitigating integrity and geopolitical risks with specific ownership of risks impacting communities across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
Throughout her career, Jane has worked on the front lines in Facebook, Instagram, and Meta’s Trust & Safety and Crisis Management functions and is the co-author of Facebook’s first crisis response playbook for Operations and Policy teams. As a manager, she focuses on providing strategic direction, thought leadership, guidance, and career development to her team and takes pride in fostering an inclusive environment where critical and creative thinking are nurtured enabling people to operate at their highest level of effectiveness.
