Madhu Ramankutty is a Principal on the Policy Development Team in Ofcom's Online Safety Group and leads teams that work on content moderation, user reporting, and user empowerment. She joined Ofcom after 4.5 years at Meta, where she led work across content policy and operations teams on a wide range of Trust & Safety issues related to high risk events and crises that generated harmful content on the platform. Prior to Meta, she worked as a public sector management consultant at Deloitte. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford’s Centre for Socio-Legal Studies.
